Jeremy Franklin

Biography

Jeremy Franklin is a renowned South African contemporary artist, who has his studio and home in Johannesburg. Jeremy graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Art (Hons) from Rhodes University in Grahamstown in 1991.

Jeremy’s artworks, which include etchings, bronzes and oil paintings, are displayed in various international as well as local and public collections, including; The South African National Art Gallery; The Art Bank (Johannesburg); FIFA SA Head Office; MTN Art Collection; Sun International Hotels; The Sheraton Group Hotels; The Hilton Hotel Group; and the Dave Mathews Private Art Collection.

Jeremy has held solo as well as group exhibitions at The Everard Read Gallery (1997); Knysna Fine Art Gallery (2001); Alliance Française (2004); Robert Hodgins Foundation (2015); Robert Hodgins Foundation Group Exhibition featuring Deborah Bell, Robert Hodgins and William Kentridge (2016); Oil and Iron Exhibition, Hartbeespoort, with Paul Mikula (2017).
