The brightness of the work draws the viewer closer as it appears like a bauble or trinket. Once close, the title suggests that it has infective possibilities. It however infects with positive energy rather than the negative. This piece challenges the viewer to reimagine everyday objects and their potential for creativity.
Using found objects, I fashioned an extruded cube out of plastic road cones joined with plastic cable ties. The formal banding of the black emphasises the brightness of the orange structure.
