Matriarch

This exquisite and detailed painting highlight’s the interconnected web of life that allows nature to flourish.  This painting represents mother earth as woman and elephant matriarch and impala lily (Adenium multiflorum) forest all interconnected. The linear blue network at the base represents mycelium – the underground network that allows trees in forests to communicate with each other. The Oleander Hawkmoth (Daphnis nerii) represented is one of the known pollinators of the impala lily.
