‘Ntshatsheli” is a visual depiction by Ludumo Maqabuka of the inner strength displayed by most women in general. Ludumo refers to the women in his life as heroes. Many are single parents and sole bread winners yet they still have a soft and gentle with their children and partners on the one hand and a powerful political and economic force to be reckoned with on the other.
Maqabuka uses stenciling to portray white patterned roses as his backdrop to the boxing lady created in charcoal, spray paint and pastel.
