Shattered Wings

This is a large piece made of many layers using inks, collage and ballpoint pens.  Once again, the artist has cut up old works.  The pieces used in this work however vary from small rectangles to larger organic shapes. The work is a result of a process as the artist created it by using different pieces she had at hand. When she works she has no plan for the final outcome but rather lets the piece evolve intuitively seeing what develops.  She explains that she found Shattered Wings a challenging work to resolve and felt a huge sense of achievement on completion of the work.
