Shyness is often criticized by our society. But if we distinguish shyness from social anxiety, we might honour being shy as a tender and positive part of ourselves. However, submission could be an act of submitting to the authority or control of another. The artwork is inspired from my own sexual identity of desire and control, or lack thereof.
