Stompie Selibe creates music using improvisation as an approach, which mirrors his approach to creating art. He paints freely with an energetic abandonment which results in powerful abstract expressionistic paintings. Working on more than one artwork at a time he listens to music to inspire him visually. The surfaces of these artworks, leave a trace of memory as to how these mixed media pieces have been created.
