Tanja Truscott uses painterly abstraction to create soft landscapes of earthly tones. Truscott’s artistic practice is intuitive as she draws her inspiration from the sounds and sensations of the natural world alongside multiple elements of human culture. Truscott enjoys the process of layering paint, as the layers have an ability to simultaneously reveal and conceal that which is hidden beneath the surface.
