Dion Cupido was born in Mitchells Plain, located in the Western Cape of South Africa. Cupido is largely a self-taught artist. During his early artist days, Cupido experimented with graffiti on the walls of the Cape Flats. Cupido currently lives and works in the city of Cape Town.
