Unlike a solid structure, the giraffe’s body appears open
and hollow, creating spaces within its form where other creatures gather and co-inhabit. Small animals and birds settle throughout these cavities, transforming the
giraffe into a shared habitat where many beings coexist.Above its head a radiant halo forms, around which sunbirds gather like sparks of livinglight. In the artist’s philosophy, sunbirds are beings sent from heaven—liquid shards ofgolden sunlight that bless the world with their presence. Their flight around the giraffesuggests harmony and unity, as different species align and work together for thecommon good. The Tower of Power becomes both a sanctuary and a symbol of cooperation, illustratinghow strength, openness, and balance can create a space where life flourishescollectively.Provenance
