John Moore has an affinity for the mystical and he uses a variety of media to express his visions and distinct imagery.  The colour palette Moore uses is dependent on the story carried by the animal he depicts - with some artworks occuring in black and white, or silver and gold, while others are portrayed in vivid colour. Moore engages in a responsive dialogue with nature and animals, literally and artistically, to convey information about conservation that he believes needs to be shared with the human world. Moore bridges the gap between nature and humans by drawing inspiration from myths, legends and archetypes to create works that are hyper-real and surreal simultaneously.
