Moore bridges the gap between nature and humans by drawing inspiration from myths, legends and archetypes to create works that are hyper-real and surreal simultaneously.
John Moore is a printmaker and fine artist who has exceptional technical mastery of printmaking techniques such as etching, linocut, lithograph, woodblock and mezzotint. In addition, Moore is an accomplished charcoal, pencil and pastel artist. 
 
Moore is the resident artist for ‘Rex the Rhino Conservation Foundation’, a non-profit organisation which cares for and protects rhino orphans. This collaboration has fulfilled Moore’s aspiration to become actively involved in environmental conservation. John has created a series of six works depicting rhino’s for the exclusive use of the foundation. 
 
Moore shares his passion for art and printmaking by teaching short courses in printmaking techniques and drawing to adults, students and children at the John Moore Art Studio. Moore additionally offers Masterclasses and internships to artists wishing to learn about different printmaking methodologies.
